Tata Communications commits up to $450 million to build 10,000 km AI-ready fibre network across India
Tata Communications on October 26, 2026 unveiled a plan to invest roughly $400 to $450 million over three to five years to lay about 10,000 kilometres of long haul fibre connecting India’s data centre corridors and AI hubs. The move aims to capture a large share of growing data centre connectivity demand and position the company as a backbone for AI services in India.
